What Are These Supplementary Lessons?

These lessons aren’t part of the four main DBT skill modules (Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness), but they’re here for a reason.

They cover the why, how, and deeper meaning behind the core skills. Think of them as the missing pieces that help you actually use DBT in real life. When things get messy, confusing, or emotionally intense.

These aren’t required, but they greatly enhance your ability to apply DBT to the stuff that really matters: your relationships, your habits, your values, and your day-to-day decision-making.
